Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced that construction is complete on Creekside Logistics, a new Class A warehouse development located just outside of Nashville in the town of Smyrna. Ware Malcomb provided architecture and interior design services for the 371,000 square foot, three-building project.

Creekside Logistics is owned by Tridon Property Owner, LLC comprised of Foundry Commercial LLC, a full-service commercial real estate company with an integrated development and investments platform and Principal Global Investors, LLC. The project consists of one 147,500 square foot building, one 135,240 square foot building and one 88,500 square foot building. Its 43-acre site benefits from proximity and access to I-24, situated within one of the most established industrial corridors in the Nashville metro area.

“The client’s goal was to maximize as much warehouse space as possible,” said Greg Spon, Regional Director for Ware Malcomb.

Ware Malcomb’s team designed the facility to maximize building coverage and provide flexibility for a range of light industrial and warehousing uses. To maximize space, the team designed the building as far as fire separation would allow and recessed the building corners for office use/entry to allow for windows and openings.

The project is designed to accommodate tenant size ranges from 17,860 to 147,260 square feet and features tilt-wall construction with 32’ clear heights. Ware Malcomb designed the exterior shell and interiors for all three buildings, which included six speculative office spaces for future tenants. Exterior features include orange colored entry canopies themed to the Foundry Commercial brand. Warehouse space was maximized while also providing ample parking and trailer parking.

“This is a significant project for our office, as we continue to grow our market share in the Nashville metro area.” Spon added. “We have established a great partnership with Foundry and look forward to working with them in future endeavors.”
