Third-party logistics (3PL) provider, Weber Logistics, is celebrating its 100-year anniversary this year. Former Weber family Board members, the entire Weber management team, and friends gathered recently to celebrate the milestone and to honor the contributions of former owner and company chairman, Nick Weber.

Only about 12% of U.S. companies last more than 25 years (Bureau of Labor Statistics) and, according to research by Woodlock House Family Capital, just .5% continue to operate past the 100-year mark.

"Very few logistics companies get to celebrate a 100-year legacy," says Weber Logistics CEO, Bob Lilja. "Our continued success is a testament to the contributions of decades of talented team members including the leadership of former owner Nick Weber, who guided the company for over half of its 100 years."

Today, Weber is one of the most well-regarded premium service 3PL companies on the West Coast, with 15 high-volume, omni-channel distribution centers, a large drayage operation serving the California ports, and a fleet of dry and temperature-controlled trucks providing LTL and full truckload retail and grocery deliveries throughout the Western Region. Weber combines its assets to provide a fully integrated, port-to-consumer distribution solution for companies that import goods to the U.S. via the West Coast.
