Descartes’ OneView Customs House Broker (CHB) solution is an enterprise-class application with end-to-end capabilities to manage U.S. brokerage requirements, from entry preparation and filing through to accounting. It was developed with advanced Message Queue (MQ) capabilities and a direct link to U.S. Customs and Border Protection so users can easily receive responses and customs status messages to manage by exception.

The solution is template-driven to facilitate ease-of-use and leverage existing data. Information entered into Descartes’ security filing systems such as ISF and AMS also populate brokerage transactions in Descartes’ OneView CHB solution to help improve productivity and eliminate additional data entry. By implementing Descartes OneView, customers like Werner can share the data common to customs operations and security filings to improve operational efficiency and reduce submission errors.
