STV, professional services firm that plans, designs and manages infrastructure projects across North America, today announced that Kevin Young, PE, has joined the firm as senior vice president and strategic client service leader for the firm’s transportation Texas/Mountain region. In this role, Young will focus on managing key client accounts and enhancing the client experience.

Young is a graduate of Texas A&M University and the University of Texas San Antonio, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and his Master of Business Administration, respectively. He is an active member of several community and professional organizations in Texas, including recent service on the board of directors for Austin’s Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on various boards and committees for San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, American Council of Engineering Companies, San Antonio Mobility Coalition, Citizens Bond Oversight Committee and Texas Society of Professional Engineers, as well as the Texas section of the American Water Works Association, among many others.
STV has successfully completed projects in every major metropolitan region in Texas – including Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio and Austin. This includes major milestones for TxDOT on each segment of the Capital Expressway (CapEx) improvement projects: from final plans delivery of CapEx South, planning for CapEx North and schematic and environmental support for CapEx Central. The firm supported system-wide upgrades for the Houston Metropolitan Transit Authority’s New Starts light rail transit system and the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Light Rail Transit System.
