In continued pursuit of its vision to become the most sought-after transportation provider in the world, Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. (ATS) is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Lakmann to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

As a 25-year veteran with ATS, Lakmann is well prepared for the role, having served in several key roles within the company. He started as a fleet manager and also held roles in customer service, planning and outside sales before taking on leadership responsibilities first as a customer service supervisor and then as a manager, director and most recently vice president of operations for the ATS Specialized team. He also provides leadership for ATS affiliate company, Rochester, Minnesota-based Midwest Specialized Transportation, Inc.

The role of chief operating officer at ATS was previously held by ATS President, Brent Anderson. Brent will maintain his current roles and responsibilities as president of ATS. The organizational change is effective September 1, 2021.
